An email received from Elizabeth Hughes from the Bridgend Deanery, following their first Carers Day states:

Since the retreat weekend in May – ‘Sacredness of the Human Heart' the Deanery Pastoral Companions have met regularly for prayer, reflection and faith-sharing and organised the first Quiet Day - ‘Show us, Oh Lord, the Path of Life.' The response from the participants was very positive and we would like to share a few of their comments with you:

"The warm companionship of the people and of the peace and quiet during the periods of meditation”.

Perhaps there are carers where you live who would benefit from support if so the Pastoral Care Project would be happy to support you in setting up a group where you live, or offer a retreat day? Email [email protected] or tel: 01675 434035.
