Lord, may your name be blessed in the seasons of my life. In the springtide of my hopes, sow a seed that never dies. May the summer of my labours be as the harvest of your love. The winter of my days the sharing of your cross. With, and in you, may we become that single grain, falling to the ground and rising to eternal life. This prayer was sent to us for Lent/Easter by Bishop David McGough. The words offer us hope, as do the words in the song The Father's LoveVideos |
