![]() This month of November as we 'gathering to pray' we remember those who have given their lives in the service of others, and our faithful departed, whom we entrust into God's safe keeping. All are welcome to attend the following times of prayer; should you not live near of these venues, then simply spend some time where ever you are; even if only for a few minutes and join in prayer: Thursday 2nd November - Holy Hour by Candlelight 6 - 7 pm at St Augustine's Catholic Church, Solihull B91 3TG Sunday 19th November Abbey Park MHA Care Home, Coventry. Evening Service led by Rev Pauline Warner Sunday19th October 2017 - Pope Francis's first World Day of the Poor Mass offered by Fr Stephen Beale, SDP. Cardinal Heenan House, Upholland. Prayers will be included for the Pastoral Care Project's charitable work among the families where a relative has dementia and who are dependent on others for their care. Thank you for joining in as we all benefit in different ways from the prayers said each day by so many. Please do get in touch if you have a specific prayer intention. Should you wish to pray for the work of the Pastoral Care Project or help in some way, please do get in touch. The Pastoral Care Project remembers the many people over the years; from 1989 to 1994 the individuals and churches who nurtured the seed through prayer and action. Then in the early development from 1994 the vast number of people connected with us to shape the charity. Together, with you, we continue to listen and discern the meaning of the Scripture Luke 4:18-19 and how we can support people of every age affected in some way through their journey of dementia - they are our guides and inspiration; we are humbled by their love, acceptance and faith. |
