Spread the Word
The Theme for this year's annual national week is 'The Father's Love' and in the words of Bishop David McGough, "During this week we remember especially the often forgotten pain of those suffering with dementia, and those who care for them." Bishop David's new prayer - Loving Father can be purchased from our online shop.
We invite you to purchase Prayer Cards and help spread the word in the community. It is also our annual appeal for collections and donations to help us to continue this important work. Click on Total Giving image top right of page - a very easy way to make a small donation.

Cardinal Vincent Nichols will be offering his private Mass every day throughout the Week.
Supplies of Prayer Cards have been sent to all Catholic Cathedrals in England and Wales, made available by a grant from the CBCE&W Day for Life Fund.
EWTN Televison Channel have confirmed that "Nuns and the Friars will continue to pray for your intentions for the next 30 days from 6th March 2017."
Abbey Park MHA Coventry, every day Chaplain and residents will be praying in their Chapel and inviting people to join them or to send their prayers and petitions.
St Thomas More Academy & Sixth Form Nuneaton - all RE lessons begin with prayer for Dementia Prayer Week. Lenten almsgiving to the Pastoral Care Project.
Presentation Sisters English and Irish Province will be joining in prayer throughout the Week.
Christ the King Catholic Primary School Leicester - Mrs Annie Carter Head of RE confirmed Dementia prayer will be said on three days throughout the week.

Monday 13th March 2017
St John Fisher Primary School Coventry launch the Week by holding a full school assembly and have pledging to share their Lenten alms with the Pastoral Care Project.
Holy Family Primary School, Coventry - Assembly and prayer daily throughout the Week and share of Lenten almsgiving.
Ormskirk Church of England Parish - talk on 'Pastoral Companions'.
Tuesday 14th March 2017
Our Lady of the Angels Parish Nuneaton Toddler Group are holding a YELLOW Day including prayer and donating their fees to the Pastoral Care Project
Thursday 16th March 2017
Our Lady's & St Joseph's Academy Nuneaton - School Mass and Lenten Almsgiving. Four classes will be using the specially produced Dementia Lesson Plan during the Week.

St Thomas More Sixth Form College Nuneaton - On 16th & 17th March PSHE year 12 & 13 will be holding a time of prayer and watching 'For Better, For Worse' film with discussion afterwards.

St Benedict's Primary School Atherstone - School /Parish Mass at 10.00am with refreshments afterwards. The Pastoral Care Project staff will be available after Mass for anyone requiring information about our work. St Joseph the Worker Church Coventry - prayer said after Mass throughout the Week.
St Augustine's Solihull - Bake & Share - scones after weekend Masses and proceeds to the Pastoral Care Project.
Our Lady of the Angels Nuneaton - Prayer Cards distributed at the weekend Masses and stickers given out for people to wear to show their support for Dementia Prayer Week.
A number of parishes have emailed to say they will be including the bidding prayer at Mass.
